73 c-20?

Just thought I'd share my project. I got a 73 C-20 RCLB about 10 years ago and over the last few years got to restoring it. I did the whole frame off thing and realized I wouldnt be happy with a 2WD truck. So I cut off the front of a 87 1 ton 4x4 with a Dana 60 and spliced that front half onto mine. I put a 69 long stepper bed on it and sprayed some 06 GM impulse Blue metallic paint. I was pretty happy with it, but times got tough and I had to rely on that truck to drive me 40 miles each way to work and the 350 didnt like that haul with the SM465 and 4.10s. So I tried another 350 with a little cam and eventually it was doing everything it could to keep oil out of the crankcase. I decided I needed a motor that was going to take some RPM a lil better and I love fuel injection. So I headed down to the junkyard and pulled a 99 5.3l and all the wiring. About 5 hours later I had my harness stripped down to what I needed and got a license for EFIlive ordered. Well long stroy short I started with a 73 C20 4spd 350 and now Ive got a K30 4spd 5.3L. All I lack now is getting an exhaust on it. My favorite part is that I did the whole swap and got the truck running for less than $500. Ill have to get some pics up but I was pretty happy with how it came along and wanted to share that the swap is very easy and anyone thinking about it should go for it. Thanks for reading
