Loud exhaust for 2011 5.3

Hello everyone I am currently shopping for dual split out the back my choices are magnaflow 3' pipes 3.5' tips. My other choice is borla same size. Magnaflow is 700 bucks shipped and borla is a little over 1000. I love loud but it has to sound amazing better than flowmaster. I had those on my old truck. Please if anyone has any of these installed on similar trucks your info is greatly appreciated thanks for al your help.

3" duel exhaust is too big your going to lose power

i was curious about the 3" being to big, would 2 1/2" still be too big or would that be suitable for a dual setup?

Just had exhaust work done to mine. Looks like 2.25" after the Y no mufflers (cut off the muffler only left everything else) with 4" tips with rolled edge. Sounds awesome and not terrible loud. Picked up ruffly 2 mpg.

I'd go with at least a 1/2 inch step down from stock single pipe ( ex if stock is 3" single go with 2 1/2 duels

I would simply install whatever aftermarket muffler you choose in the factory location. No need for dual exhaust on the truck, you will actually lose power more than likely. You will not gain any mileage either.

So your saying bigger exhaust less power ? Sorry about the delay between reply work is super busy. Also will exhaust system void my warranty?

Bigger with duel you will lose power since less back pressure 3" duels is excessive not needed unless your running turbo/supercharger an even then it might be much, go with stock size single or one step down duels
