Can i remove rear seat interior panels and access the body to pound out some small exterior dents? how do the panels come off?

sometimes you may get lucky and be able to reach the dent, just depends on the vehicle.

Sorry, my bad. 94 z71 4wd 2dr short box with rear seat. the dents are on the passenger side of the rear seat. Thanks for the reply.

Whenever I've disassembled an interior (and I've done it on quite a few GMs), I've always just unscrewed whatever screws I can find, and then started to pull on the panel. They'll usually have those body fasteners, and then a interior fastener remover tool comes in handy (you break a lot fewer of them).
I haven't needed to take apart my 98 (yet), so I can't give you specifics. I've always just started in on it and went for the gusto.

There are a few screws also a bunch of hidden "christmas tree" style fasteners (like the ones that hold the
door panels on just bigger).
