I need to find the strongest spray adhesive that I can buy. I bought some carpet from ACC:

http://www.accmats.com/

Which is where anyone will tell you to get your carpet from. They use a thick plastic backing. I just bought a strip a year ago and cut it and glued it up to the back of the cab. The 3M brand spray carpet adhesive obviously wasn't up to the task, cause it let go. Guess it couldn't take the texas heat. So this time, I don't want to waste my time with the standard spray adhesive that 3M or would have me use. I'm looking for the strongest stuff out there. What is it?

Or should I even be looking at sprays for strength?

just throwin fiberglass resin out there for ya, i used it to secure my headliner material to the headliner. i havent put it in but in the past 8 months it seems to be holding up in storage. we will see what the summer heat does to it though, but as far as adhering material, it should hold up pretty good, especially if you prep the metal surface with some rough gritsand paper and acetone to clean the dust off.

Well I used dynamat for some sound deadening. So technically it would be sticking to its aluminum backing. But other than that. Maybe that's fine.
