Wanting to do a Double Din conversion on my 2000 chevy

There's several ways to do it. I'm doing the 03+ basket and 03+ bezel. There's a video on YouTube that explains it pretty well. Search 2000 silverado double din conversion.

Yeah I sqaw that video I was thinking of going the same route but doesnt the 03 bezel hang lower than the 00 and thats why he had to cut the ash tray. I dont mind cutting the ash tray I just want a clean look.

Yeah the lighter port door dosent open all the way and you'll have to trim the ash tray. That's the only down side. Or you can get a 03+ glove box and center piece and everything will work. I have the 03+ full console is why I'm doing the conversion

Where did you find a 03+ full conversion? What does it include? And if ou dont mind me asking how much?

All from the junkyard console, glove box and middle (all one piece) 125$. knee bolster (I cut mine) but you can get an 03+ if you want. 03+ Bezel 30$ and radio basket 35$. So 200$ all together. I have to get a dash kit because I already have an aftermarket radio single den. So another 25$ for that.
