I have a 2004 Tahoe, with the auto dual climate control and rear air as well. The rear air works great as it should. The auto dual climate control in the front is having issues.
First, it seems that the lower fan speeds are not working, at least not at first. After the vehicle has been running for a little while the fan will kick on at full speed. If the unit is not set on recirculate, the faster I drive, the more air will be pushed through the system and it is cold as it should be. Fan resistor? Also, once the vehicle has been shut off, and I exit and close the doors I can still hear the fan running for up to 1 minute.
Second, there is not much air pressure on the passenger side. Even with that side being set much colder than the driver side, it will barely blow.
Could all this be contributed to the climate control unit?
