Sub box repair

The guy I had make my sub boxes accidentally cut the opening for the subs a little too big. The subs don't fall in the box, but I can't put all the screws in either. Can I make a ring to fit inside the cut out now to make the opening smaller like it is supposed to be? Would liquid nails be sufficient to hold it in place?

i would make a new front baffle with the proper cutout for the sub.
