Hi, I'm Lindsay, I'm 22 from Pennsylvania. I just bought a 1985 C10 305 V8 2WD and wanted opinions and a little guidance. I'm just starting off learning how to work on my truck, my brother has been helping a lot but he's a Ford guy and very busy. I'm looking to replace my shocks and wanted your opinion on whether these seemed okay, if not where is a good place to get them?
They Rancho RS5000 High-performance for 50.99 a piece.
Thanks for you help!

I have heard pretty good things about them and seems like a pretty good price. What are your plans for the truck?

rancho are good shocks, but if you want a good ride, with it being a 2wd i would look into the edelbrock IAS , or bilstien (sp?)

Welcome Lindsay !
What are your plans for the truck?
This is very important, especially for your driving conditions and your expectations of your truck.

I have bilsteins on my Tahoe, and I am very pleased. And welcome!

Welcome, welcome. Not sure on the Rancho suspension, but from what I've heard they are pretty reputable.
Good luck on the learning. This forum is chalk full of helpful knowledgeable people that have done a LOT of things with full size Chevy's. Just keep reading and reading.. and reading some more. :D
