Hi, my name is Cesar, I'm from Mexico and i wanted your help to identify a truck that has been part of my childhood, this truck is rusty due the work that has been used for, this truck was used to take water to the cows in a little town here in mexico(where my mom was born), i think it's a very cool truck and would look awesome if it was restored, it may be a lot of work for a 19 y/o and his dad, but at the end i know it'll worth every minute, and what year is it? and what do you guys think of it

73-82 Chevy C10 from the looks of it. Old square body. My favorite. Easy to find parts for, easy to work on, and great truck. Good luck.

I think is more a 1970-72 by seeing the brake lights.

The brake lights and bed corners are the ONLY thing reminiscent of the 68-72. Everything forward of there is clearly 73-87. Considering your location, I'm guessing that it's an international model, so it has some differences from what was the norm here in the U.S.

Welcome Cesar !
Without seeing the front end, I'm thinking it's a '81 to '83 based on the design of the
emblem on the front quarter panel and the door mirror
The box is a whole different subject
I spent quite a bit of time in Mazatlan in the 70's & 80's and if memory serves me
right, GM trucks did have a somewhat different box with the tailgate saying ' DINA '
if you look close at the taillights they are placed lower then the US built '67 - '72 units
also note the placement of the ' added ' side marker lamp
Hopefully they could find a nice unit around the area as this truck does not seem to have
a straight panel anywhere, it would still be some work but they would cut out a ton of unnecessary
work...Just my opinion.
One of my favorite places in Mazatlan

Yeah that might be the problem i've been having guessing the year, also i'm 19 years old so i don't know much about those trucks, the truck i really felt in love when i saw it the first time is a 1948 GMC and 1951 Chevy truck which they are very similar models.

The family condo was sold in 1993, it was in the first building
across the bridge from the Camino north of the Golden Zone.
