Center Console for 1996 ecsb 2500!

Hello everyone, I am curently looking for a center console for a 1996 Chevy ECSB Silverado. I am doing research on my own but would like to know if Chevrolet made a center console for this truck from the factory. I would like to add also that my truck has a 60/40 split front bench. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I will also be looking to the aftermarket for additional options. Thanks to all.

Chevrolet didn't make anything for the 60/40 trucks, but there are all kinds of smaller aftermarket console out there.

You have to change the seat(s) as a console doesn't mix with a 60/40 bench (sawing off 20 from the 60 just isn't going to fly).

GM did have A 60/40 bench with the center seat folded down as an arm rest and console built in. What is yours just A large arm rest?

Yes the center section is just a large armrest. It does not open. What I was looking for is a floor console for in front of the seat. As I am a taller guy, I do not move the seat very often and I will be the only driver. I guess I will look into the aftermarket options and see what is available.
