Flip Down How too

Does anyone have a flip down how too for a 2008 Chevy 2500HD Duramax 4dr. I want to put a flip down in but am so scared to drill the roof. I usually do all my own AV stuff but this one has me scared. I understand how to wire it i just need some help mounting it. Thanks

What I do is cut the headliner, and screw a piece of MDF to the roof supports above the headliner, then attach the bracket that comes with the flip down to the MDF for secure mounting. Then just use the supplied screws to attach the flip down to the bracket. So long as you're not using ridiculously long screws, you should have no chance of going through the roof.

when i do them i use a nut zert rivet gun, i catch the metal brace in the middle and use the metal mounting plate the tv comes with. makes it to where it is serviable and looks lmore like a factory install. also don't hook up the dome lights to the fact dome lights on the car. will keep your bcm on and drain your batt on some models.
