Im in the market for a new muffler. I was leaning toward a spintech 6000 series. For now, I was just going to try to cut it into my factory exhaust by cutting out the old and putting in the new so to speak. Is this even possible? What size in and out should I be looking at to fit the factory pipe? I dont want to frankinstien some crap together but i am limited on funds at the moment.

U would need a dual 2.25 in/single 2.5" or 3" out....or a dual 2.25 in, dual 2.25 out

Yep, i think it might be actual 2", but u can't get it in that size, might have to use 2 little pieces of 2.25 pipe to slip over the stock pipe and into muffler, but no big deal, and the stock tailpipe is 2-3/4", so a small piece of 3" would slip over that and into a single 3" outlet muffler if u wanna keep it all stock
