First off, this thread is gonna wind up spanned over tge bext couple months. Due to the fact that it is my dailey driver, and i am away for 3 weeks.
The build started with buying the truck bone stock. Did away with the hard shell topper, put cb whips and toolbox in. Tried the rattle can bed liner, waste of time and money imo. The the intake went out, so i figured what the hell, got all parts to replace intake gaskets, along with cai and throttle body spacer. Next came the spray on liner around the bottom, mainly to try to slow the rust a little. Then came the dual thrush exhaust dumped immediately after mufflers, Then came the 3" bl and 285's.
I have been gone since january for army related things, so havent worked on her, but have baught some stuff, like bug guard for hood, vent visors for front windows, new perfamance tune up, vette servo, and chery bomb extreme dual in/out along with 3" magnaflow tips. The exhaust is gonna exit in front of rear pass tire.
Now, for your opinions on my next plans. I am planning a pcm tune, e-fans, transgo hd2 kit, denali center console and buckets, cb mounted in cd exchange spot on console. Also an oh console. Colormatched grill and wiper arms, remove the trim, stock fender flares, soft 8s, home made bumpers and possibly leveling kit. Now, these plans are gonna tale some time to finish, due to saving so i can get the rust fixed and have it chip guarded around the bottom and undercoated. Im on a tight budget like everyone else. But i wanted to get this thread started and get some ideas on things to do, and see what you guys think of what i have done and plan on doing
