any ideas or thoughts?
would like to keep egr engine has 10.0 to 1 and a nice little cam with z28 springs 1.6 comp roller tip rockers and a k+n stock tune no cats and factory exhaust.
will update post very soon with cam spec's as i do not have them in front of me.
heads are stock expect for springs and spring seat modification.
cam spec's as follows
intake 106.9 centerline 202.8 duration with 433 valve lift
exhaust 114.9 centerline 208.7 duration with 457 valve lift
i have 1.6 rockers so for gross lift multiply 1.6 times valve lift to get your number
i been leaning towards the pacesetter headers and was wondering if anybody had underneath view or pic's of the y pipe
only part of it that worries me is the pipe under that transmission.
i definately want long tube and probably obx or pacesetter. ease of installation? no three bolt flange will use strap band at the collector and at the rear of the mufflers/muffler(spintech) single 3" all way out back.
i do plan on lifting the truck later somewhere between 4 to 8" but exhaust is all i am conecrned with now.Post some ideas or pic;s of what your setup is like? i want to be able to remove it like a factory setup also makes it easier to work on!
or would shorties be better?
411 pcm swap is in the future also after i get exhaust taken care of( ported heads,and maybe more cam and better than a 3.42 ratio in the rear)
