Bought a set of Escalade buckets with console for $200 last winter. Console was broke and Sold it for $50 and bought a flip console last week for $80. Yesterday I went to work and ripped my seats and carpet out and cleaned everything up good. I wired my power seats to my amp. I think it looks great and these seats are so much comfier. I dont even mind the colour difference from the console to seats.
Thoughts?

nice seats. are those the heated seats. i was looking into doing that swap but since i have and ext cab i would have to do something with the rear seat.
never the less. truck looks good. seat work looks good to.

something you could do to match that center councle in with the seats is have the center section of the seats redone with the same color. just the center sections. would looks sick. imo

Yes they are heated. You could just run a OBS leather backseat. The swap would be so much nicer and easier in an ext. cab

Thats the plan..but leather wrap is expensive and IMO I like it the way it is. I searched and searched for the Light Grey flip console buy they are nearly impossible to find

may be crazy but i was thinking about 2 seprate seats fo rthe back instead of a bench, could put a bad ass sub box from back to front. dont think theres much room for that though. plus the height difference between front to back would be weird.
you said OBS LEATHER BACKSEAT what is obs. may be a dumb question but not sure of the terms

I drilled new holes..if i hadnt been so hungover and impatient i would have welded up new brackets and used my old bolt holes.

I unbolted all the OBS seat belts on the floor. the NBS seats have them right in the seats.

Any chance you have photos of the entire installation process? I would love to do something like this in my OBS Tahoe. It looks awesome man. I've always loved your truck.

I thought about it but there was no point. You have two options.
1- get some flat bar and weld tabs to use your stock seat bolts
2- drill new holes
On the passenger side i used the stock back seat hole closest to the drivers seat as a starting point. after that i pushed the seats as far as I could towards the center hump and got them as straight as i could and continued marking one hole at a time and drilling. As for the drivers side side i drilled 4 new holes. i plugged my old seat holes with the old bolts.
FYI not a job to do hung over and when its hot out.

Took a few hours. Its really not that big of a job. Took me longer because i had to reloate my amp and do a bunch of wiring. I would say 3hrs tops. Thats taking your old seats and belt out, trimming the nbs console brackets, lining up and drilling your new holes and wiring the power seats up.
