I've never put air on anything so I'm looking for a complete kit. I plan/can install myself but not sure of what bags or valves I need is why I want a complete kit. I don't plan to drag on 26" wheels or need side to side. I have a 97 crew cab 1/2 ton on 20's that I just want to cruise a little lower but be able to get over railroad tracks and stuff. I know Air Ride Tech has a complete kit. bolt on is a plus, price is fair. KP stuff is nice but not complete from what I see, same with the Ekstensive kit. Who else makes a complete kit?

Kp components makes a bolt on 4-link kit and also a rear cantilever kit that makes the set up a 6 link. I know a guy who has the kp 6 link set up and he says it rides great. As for bags, I've heard the slam specialties ss7's aren't very good. I plan to run re-7s which many ppl say they like. Valves and airlines depend on how fast you wanna pop up or down, the bigger the valve/airline the quicker you'll get lift. I would think being able to get lift quick would be nice incase that pot hole comes outta no where and go down back you the desired ride height slowly. I believe you need 8 valves.. 4 for the tank to connect airlines to each bag and then one for each bag (depending if you run more than one tank). Up front you can either keep the stock uca's and lca's and just modify the arms a bit which would save some serious cash, or you can run different after market control armstrong of your choice. Just gotta notch the area around the front bag so it doesn't rub and notch for tie rods. An 8" weld in rear notch will be plenty to lay out on 20s and 22's. Also check out the sticky on "how to lay frame on 22's for obs" lots of good info there

I have the complete air ride tech kit on my truck and have installed their kits on many other vehicles. You really cant beat there stuff for complete bolt on kits. Im still running stock 15" sport wheels with 225/70r15s in the front and with all the air out the air damn in the front is about 1/4" off the ground. Truck rides nice and handles great with the extra large sway bars front and back.
