I just got two Rockford Fosgate 12" p3 4ohm, dual voice coil subs for my 03. They are wired to 2 ohms so I only have to run rca's to one port in the box instead of both ports. I have an 800w sony xplod amp and don't want to spend any more money so I will use it. I was using this amp with 2 12" polk db212's. The wattage is close to the same but the polks seem to have been single voice coil. Can I wire the amp to the rockfords the same as I did with the polks?
