Hey guys,
I recently sold my 06 Honda Pilot and used the equity to buy outright a 2000 Silverado 1500. We have a minivan for hauling the kids so the Pilot was getting zero use except to ferry my ass to and from the train station everyday. I figure i could shed a car payment and get a vehicle that I can actually get some use out of. So, I got the 1500 off of craigslist. It is an extended cab, full size bed, and the kicker is that is only has 41xxx miles on it. She runs strong and the engine/undercarriage look great. The fuel sender/pump is probably going to need replacing soon, as the gauge reads empty even with a full tank. Switching from D to N and back seems to help the needle climb to full for some reason, but I am not 100% worried about that yet. Anyway, I try to do most of my own work and will try anything short of pulling an engine or dropping a tranny.
Thanks guys, I look forward to getting some valuable info from this site.
