im very impressed by the bose system in my truck. much better than i would have thought it would be. i didnt have high hopes for it after listening 2 the boston acoustics system in the camaros, the rear deck rattled and sounded horrible. bose did a really good job when they designed this system. but i just want more, dont we all?
what have yall done to improve your bose system in your nnbs? i want 2 keep the stock head unit and i dont want 2 add a sub because i want 2 keep the room under my rear seats. i know its hard but what can i do to make it better yet look stock? my friend has a mustang with the shaker 500 system and its got a LOT of bass. i just want more.

This probably should have gone in the audio/video area but oh well.

What exactly are you wanting though?
You said you don't want to add a sub but then talk about the mustang having lots of bass. Are you looking to add more punch or just overall a better sound?

BTW, truck looks good with the OE wheel swap.

well im looking for bass with oem look. i noticed in the pics in the link below that the front and rear speakers are both 6.5's but are different. is one better than the other and if so how hard would it be 2 swap the ones that arent as good for the better ones? http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-CHEVY-SILVERADO-TAHOE-SUBURBAN-YUKON-BOSE-SPEAKERS-SET-SUBWOOFER-Amp-/280878975925?pt=Car_Audio_Video&hash=item4165b10bb5&vxp=mtr

what would be a good speaker 2 replace it with? and what wattage and at what ohm should i be looking for? idk the specs for the bose stuff thats why im asking.

Just from what I've read and heard before the Bose system makes it kind of a pain to upgrade stuff without having to change almost everything.

I did a quick search on here and from the 3-4 threads I read through it didn't seem like there was any easy upgrade that would make a noticeable difference. Kind of sucks but because the Bose system has an amp and stuff already it makes it a little more complicated.

do you know if they make a kit 2 swap out the stock amp for a better? i know subthump makes kits for the camaros 2 swap out the crappy boston acoustics amp and speakers but leaves all the stock wiring. ive searched but couldnt find anything.
