where do i hook the orange illumitation wire too? my dash lights quit working i think it because there not hooked up right im on 1996 silverado can anyone help?

If the dash lights in the truck quit working, youve likely got a blown fuse, id start checking there..... The deck should still light up. You dont NEED the illumination wire but it should connect to the orange/white wire on your deck, if you dont use it just tape it off.
