help converting to leds

hello everybody, im new to the forum and would like to make my first post with a question that nobody could help me with on a different site (ill leave them un-named) but i am wanting to convert my 1995 k1500's instrument cluster to leds. i want to do the gauges, hi beam indicator, and turn signal indicators but leave the other indicators/warning light stock for now. my question is that i don't know what size and how many i need. i know i could just take the dash apart and figure it out that way but im paranoid when it comes to taking dash's apart (i only want to do it once). so if anyone could give some advise and info i would greatly appreciate it. thanks in advanced. :smile:

anyone?? ive found some results on this forum but nobody gets too in depth of what bulbs for signal and high beam indicators. i know i need 6 161's for the main illumination but when i look under signals and hi beams on superbright leds bulb finder it says 74 and 161. so which is it? that's the question

thats the site im ordering from, and ive gotten my bulb sizes from there. but for some reason it gives me 2 different sizes for the same bulb on certain things (signals and high beam). that's why im confused. i guess ill have to take it apart if it comes to that. thanks for the suggestion though

Well I tore it apart today. I found that I need 7 194 type bulbs (gauges and seat belt light) and the signals and high beam are 74 type bulbs.
I'm planning on making a guide to do this so I can help the other that I'm sure had a similar situation on finding exact info
