Hey guys, been a while. I looked through a few pages and did a search but couldn't find anything relevant.
I'd like to add a audio jack to my stock stereo or replace it all together. I saw a Jeep with a cable that just hooks up to the back of the stereo and a cable hanging out. That would be good enough for me
Anyone have links to diy guides I might use?
GMC Sierra 2002 1500
Thank you!
Michael

look up the install instructions for a 99-3002 install kit, the radio just unclips. You'll need that kit, a 70-1858 harness and a 40-gm10 antenna adapter, just swap it

Nice Scott! Thanks so much for the info, I tried a bunch of google searches and couldn't figure out what the right parts were.
You rock, thanks again!

That's the problem I had in my search. If it's going to cost over $100 just to add a cable/adapter I might as well change it out I guess.
