pac os-1 with rds?

Hi everyone, I just bought a new head unit for my 03 sierra with bose and onstar... I'm trying to figure out what harness I need to hook it all up, and I'm sure I need the pac OS-1. Problem is it says for without rds... Well my truck has rds, can I still use this harness and it will just disable the rds, or is it a different adapter harness that I need? Sorry for the basic question, I'm new to the audio game and tried a search but could not find a straight forward answer

I'm not sure with the PAC harnesses, but I know with MEtra, the piece you're looking for is the GMOS-04. That's the one needed for bose, if it's non-bose, you need the GMOS-01

So will the metra gmos-4 work with having rds?

yes, it will work fine. So long as the aftermarket radio you're replacing with supports RDS.
