So, I am just about finished up with my install. (6.5 comps and an 8" sub) I had to run new speaker wire from the crossover thorugh the rubber door boot to the midwoofer and tweeter. I took the boot clips out of the door and removed the rubber boot from the clip so i could see what i was doing and so I could make the rubber boot as straight as possible...as it was alot easier to run the wire this way.
Now, it doesnt seem like they want to go back in like they were. They plastic circular piece, just spins and doesnt really seem to want to snap into place (I dont see how it "snaps" anyway. Also the rubber boot part doesn;t seem to want to go back on they plastic piece tightly.
What am I doing wrong? Driving me insane!!
