As of now I am running true dual thru fm40 mufflers on a 99 suburban 7.4. headers are on the way gibson shorty, would it be in my best interest to run one muffler like dual in dual out style, or y pipe to a single muffler to dual tail pipes, or h pipe before the dual mufflers? see my dilema also would like to get it to sound more like a big block than every chevy running around with flows. what do you guys think or have tried and works, stock was y pipe to a single muff and tail.

keep the dual set up if you a big block sound. what kind of sound are looking to get out of the mufflers? deep? loud? classic big block would be glass packs. i used flow tech terminators on my monte carlo with a 454. they were quieter then 40 flows at idle but deep and powerful at WOT.
