My friend's older brother has a 1996 Buick regal. The car has only been starting sometimes. We took the starter to Autozone to test it and the guy said that the remote wire post on the starter was lose or broken so we went ahead and replaced the starter. The car still wouldn't start so we replaced the relay. Still not starting all the time. When it doesn't start the starter doesn't even crank and the battery is full. My dad has wen't over everything with a meter and on that remote wire we are only getting 12 volts sometimes. We tried a new block to frame ground and that made no difference. What could it be?! we have tested everything and I feel bad he wasted his money on a starter. Please help!
