Ok, so I visited the Billet Accessories Direct website and I want to get the Tribal steering wheel in full billet (undecided on smooth or sinister). But my question is this, any of yall from Tx with billet steering wheels on 99+ Silv/Sierras how or where do you get your trucks inspected? I dont like the stock wheel and it is time for a new one. Thanks for the help.

You better check with your insurance co. too. I would hate to be in a serious accident, only to find out my medical wasnt covered due to modifying and removing the airbag :read:

Man do not tell the insurance folks a thing, they will not like you removing the bag. I have had a B.A.D wheel in my truck for a year now and have no trouble with the popo or the inspectors. the only thing is if you get the skull horn button the fangs are sharp as hell and will leave scars if hit hard enough.
Be sure to get the impy's steering wheel adapter from B.A.D when you order the wheel.

1) you do not have to tell them they will know if you get into a accident like the others noted you might have medical bills that might be fought by the insurance co.

2) Would you be able to have them disconnected because of saftey issues. Like if your wife is small and drives close I have heard that you can have it disconnected. Kind of like the switches in trucks.

Good luck,
