View Full Version : Tire pressure

I'm wondering what the optimal tire pressure is for my 36x14.50 TSL Radials. It says max tire pressure is 65 psi. but right now I'm running 49 in the front and 43 in the rear and was wondering what you all think. With bigger aftermarket tires/wheels, is tire pressure usually higher in the front b/c of more weight?

do the chalk test. rub a fair amount of chalk across the tire.
drive 100ft straight. no turning.
check the chalk. if its gone in teh middle, add pressure
if its gone on teh outsides, let some out
if its worn evenly, then you are :rocking:

Donít you mean the opposite? I thought if the chalk was gone on the outsides, it meant you had too much air?
Edit: Nervermind, I was reading your post wrong.
I run 38 psi front and 28 psi rear.
