What size tires are yall running on your 18's to make them clear with a 4/6. I have 255/55/18 right now and am a bit worried about it rubbing as these tires have only about 700 miles on them and I do not really wanna buy new ones. Thanks

it all depends on your rims, I had 255-50-17 and I oleed teh lips and still rubbed on big dips.

well actually, what happenend was that when I was running my 17x8 with 51/2 backspace, I was running 255/60 17 toyo's, with a 4/6 drop the lip would rub a little on the drivers side. But I still run a bumper and a lot of Rhino in the bed. So mine is about a 4/6 or 4/7 and that is with that djm lift shackle. Anyway back to the reply, I had never rolled a lip before so I just cut mine. I have heard that you can do that though but my luck the bat would kick up and crinkle the quater.

If I measured right it has 5.5 inch backspacing and the wheels are 18x8.5, it is a 2000 Gmc Sierra. Also if so how did yall bend the lips or fold them in? I don't wanna leave any dents on the outside from trying to fold it and how much would folding them in decrease the strength of the side? Thanks

I am running a 255/45/18 and will be going to a 4/6 soon. I will have to roll my front fenders just a bit.:read:

After these tires are gone I am going to go to a 255/45/18 or 255/35/18 for sure, and I do have a guy who was interested in my tires and I would lose only about $200 so I may just go that route. Also what is the best way to roll the lips, on the back and front? Thanks
