im pretty much set on replacing my subs but really need some advice on which subs to run. right now im running 3 12's Kenwood excelons DVCs. with a mtx 81000D the amp is pushing 1150 watts rms. im wanting something to go deeper and louder not to sure how much louder couse i have not been able to turn it up and let it go yet. so if someone can give me some options for subs. that would be really nice.

get a nice single 15" sub, like an RE XXX, DD9515, Brahma, etc, and port it. use all that amp's power on it.

IDMAX
W7
Brahma

Those three are pretty nice and a good mix of SQ.

L7 or 5 for pure spl.

Perhaps you need not replace the subs. What kind of box do you have your subs in? You may want to consider a box design that is more efficient or one that simply performs to your liking. Sounds like what you are lookin for is a design that will maximize the SPL output. A custom made ported enclosure tuned to the right frequency and specs of the sub should take care of your situation.

well, i built my box each sub is in its own little box of 1.5 feet 4x12 ports 1 port per sub. if you have any ideas please let me know. It is already really loud i cant play it but at almost half power and it is already way to loud then. Im just never satisfied and would like something a little louder so i just thought some better subs.
