Whats your budget? If you want cheap power, go for a jbl bp600.1 for about 200 off ebay(NIB)

Well, Here's my opinion. but Remeber, you asked for it. I would honestly ditch the Infinity Perfect idea for a set of 12" IDQ's.. Infinity Perfects have had serious Reliability issues since their inception. I know this first hand since I am running 6 of them.. Of these 6, all of them have been replaced under warranty ayt least once. Get the IDQ's and power these with either a JBL1200.1 or a Cadence A7HC. That's what i would do... I am not a big fan of RF ever since they went mass production and started to sell to Best Buy and Circuit City. Ultimately for price concerns, the JBL 1200 is the way to go. Depending on what amp you choose will determine what Ohm voice coils you should get...

They're pricey, but JL Audio's amps put out rated power from 1 ohm to 4 ( I think).
Tribal mentioned the JBL's
Memphis Studio line seem to be nice, though they like a low impedence (max power @ 1 ohm).
After you consider Tribal's comments about the Perfect's it will be easier to answer.

Steve :word: Get the Cadence. I'm starting to read some negative things about the JBL's. (and I know personally that the xover sucks) I also hear that RF ain't what it used to be.

YEs Rockford now LICKS BALLS. Their old stuff rocked but ever since they stopped making their amps here in the US quality has been SH!T. I haven't been impressed by anything I've heard from Fosgate in teh last few years. THeir amps are WAAAAY overpriced. As far as the JBL goes I don't have any personal experience with it but I haven't heard anything bad about their amps. What kinds of things have you been hearing? I've been thinking about a 300.1 to power my Kappa 10.
It's alot of reading, but here ya go. :D

well. that's the first time i've ever heard anything negative about the perfects. So the kappa is a better quality sub? i'll check out the IDQs...but honestly...i've never heard them before, so i don't know.

You wont be disappointed with Image Dynamics. They have excellent products with top notch customer service. Their drivers have won numerous World Sound Quality Championships, and this was all before the now famous IDMax. Matt Borghardt is the head of Research and Developement. Both he and Eric are available for phone conversations for recommendations or equipment setup/tuning. They are top notch in my book.

I believe he's talking about these:
IDQ 12 D4 V.2 (http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/IDSIDQ12D4V2)
$199 there and they wil go cheaper if you price match. :read: :D
