I was wondering the pros and cons of using the djm 5/7 on a 02 silvarado scsb? Is it worth the extra inch or should I stick with the 4/6? also it seems the belltech 4/6 is lower than the djm? could this be possible or am I just imagining things? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks...
5/7 on a NBS is VERY low for daily driving.

:word: not to mention you have to go with a lower profile tire which in turn is going to make your truck even lower/ harder to drive.:read:

Yeah....5/7 is waaaay too low for a NBS truck. 4/6 is plenty and please stay away from the BellTech drop on NBS trucks. The spindles will destroy your turning radius, suspension geometry, and just plain flat out suck. I'd highly consider the DJM kits (sytlin concepts has them on sale right now too:D). The DJM kit will consist of a 6" flip kit for the rear, 2" drop coil, and a 2" drop a arm. Much better setup that BellTech.
also it seems the belltech 4/6 is lower than the djm? What are you basing that on? Remember wheel tire combo's will make change the actual ride height of cars/trucks.

DJM Kits have 4" arms up front. :read:
I agree totally with Cameron. Belltech dropped the ball on the NBS spindle. I've heard no complaints about DJM parts.

If you go 5/7 (really, go 4/6) plan on having to replace your air dam more than once. :D

Thanks to everyone who replied. Sounds like djm 4/6 is the way to go. What shocks do you guys recomend?
doestch tech or bilsteins for shocks. IMO i don't think a 5/7 would be too bad on a swb...
