Hey does anyone have any ideas for an extended cab subwoofer box? I was looking at doing something either underneath the seat or behind it (if that is possible). I have something at home but in order to use it, I need to move the back seat up like 2 inches or so, which I don't think can be done. Does anyone have any pics or ideas? Space is really limited. Or something I can buy that has 2 SUBS, not one. I need some punch in the truck! Thanks everyone, all comments are welcome.

99GMC, shame on you, they're for 10's. get that crap out of here.....lol:D :D :D .

12's will fit, just raise the seat. add extensions to the feet, and the back slide locks.

That would work if i had a 1997-2000 Silverado. It's a 94 :cussing:.

If you are going to have a shop do it, just tell them to reposition your seat for you. I know a couple of guys in town that have thier seats raised up 2", and the seat still works fine, and one guy has 2 12's and 3 amps under the seat. It will fit, just takes a little customizing. Custom boxes aren't cheap, but worth having for the quality of sound that you want.

I read you have a 94 but hit my sinature link and look in the stereo album. Maybe you can get an idea. I made that box and any good stereo shop should be able to fab one for what you need. I know someone makes a kit to raise that year model back seat because I have seen one. That was a few years back and I don't remember who made it.

Someone help me out.
Ive seen them before, but i have no idea what those cylinder things are.

Like the one you got mounted by your amp there.

That is a one fared capacitor. Basicaly it stores power for the amps so it doesn't pull so much on the battery. Like if you hit a huge base note, instead of poping out it has the power ready to use.

Mudrunner, I have been searching for some pics of enclosures as well and have run across a few. I will email you what I have found. If you find that seat extension kit let me know.
