I have JL Audio component speakers that are less than a year old and seem to hum at low volume. When I say hum, I mean it sounds like a kazoo, as if there is loose paper in the speakers. This is the second time this has happened. I already had to take another set back to Tweeter and have them changed out once for this problem. Anyone else have issues with JL Audio? I thought they were supposed to be some of the best component speakers you could buy.

Well for a while I was running a Punch and a Kenwood until my truck was broken into and they were stolen. Now I'm running Cadence amps.

how are your gains set? It also could be outside interence, like running a 0 gauge wire right next to some cheap RCAs...
I don't have that much experience with JL besides their subs, and i love the W7. Which component set did you buy?
