I need some input on a head unit for my 98. I am looking for a nice one nothing cheap but not one of the ones with a screen for 1500. Needs to be able to be added on to. Just looking to replace the head unit now but add amps speakers and subs later.

Any sugestions and tell me why you would pic that. I heard Kenwood excellons are nice. Any other ones?

Help!!!

I would look at Pioneer or Alpine. I have always had great luck with Pioneer, and Alpine heads are very clean sounding!

I have a Sony cdx mp30 xm ready and had a cdx mp70 best bang for the buck. I do agree that alpine units are crisp sounding

go to www.crutchfield.com to find what you want, then buy off of ebay. super cheap. usually for decks that cost 350-400 at crutchfield you'll get them for 200-250 or less on ebay.

I love my Alpine 7897, I got it off etronics.com If you go pioneer Cardomain.com will match ikesound.com's prices

I was looking at the Alpine. Is it a great deck, because it looks sweet? I say that deck on ikes and it was cheaper than cruthfield. So etronics.com is better?
