painting interior

I want to paint some interior peices, but I dont know how to go about it.

I want to do it right....so....

what grit sandpaper would I need?
Certain primer?
certian paint?
certain clearcoat?


i need steps tooo :( very detailed steps, I want to do this correctly.

If you want the best results, take the pieces to a body shop and have them done proffessionally. That's the only way I could be happy. Shaky can just won't cut it.
