ok i know it will bolt up but will the 96 gauge cluster work do you have to change anything to make it work?

You'd need top do some serious wiring to get a 96+ Vortec harness to mesh with a 94- TBI harness. It's a ton of work and I'd think you'd almost have an easier job on your hands if you just upgraded to Vortec injection/engine. This is a serious wiring job to say the least....
