Are you thinking a OBS 95-99/00 interior or the NBS 99+ interior?
Yes, you can do it but it's a HUGE friggin job...and I mean HUGE job. IMO.....I'd try to find a 95 harness (the 95's had the newer interior and still the TBI injection, so you could run the newer electronics w/o issue.
You can do anything with time. If you plan on making the old stuff work you need to make panels in the accessory area to fit the older ac controls and need some glass work or panel work to get the guages situated right w/o a gap.

i am talkng about a 95-96 dash in my 93 burb....it dont seem like its a big issue about the controls...they are about the same size as the newer knobs 2x4....and the speedo's are both like 10 inches so i think its a slight fix an its done...after that i just need the ducted work right...are all the mounts the same...

I don't believe so....some of the supports will be different from what i've seen. The best bet is to rip out a whole dash from a junker...get as much as possible.

For the money and time you will spend swapping to a Stock looking dash I would go for something completely custom. But hey it's just me and my way of thinking. No ones really going to know that you put all that time and effort into your truck, all they are going to see is a stock dash and think it's a 95-99. Custom dashes are much cooler IMO.

since your going to pull your hair out anyways, Go retro and install a early 60's dash and redo the interior to match
