overhead console

How do I install one in my 99 silverado nbs. There isn't one in there so I have no idea what to do?

You have to cut a small square hole in your headliner at the back of the console. There are a couple of slots in the roof that two tabs on the back of the console fit into. You may also need to cut a small hole at the front of the console in order to clear the back of the map lights. Slip the console into the slots at the back, push the front up into position and install the one screw that holds it in from the front.

BUt where do I hook up the map lights to?? Are they already in there under the headliner? I need the easiest way possible to install I Am trying to do it in a couple hours SO HELP ME!! LOL:think:

LOL:think: If the wires are there then just plug and play. If not, do what I did. Run your wires under the headliner and down the a-pillar to the fuse box. Find a "hot" source and tap in.
