I wanna change the dash lights on my truck but only if i can change them on my a/c and heater control's can that be done

If the 92 dash is setup the same as my 99 Tahoe, the AC/heater controls have six lights that are easily removable/replaceable. Shouldn't take more than two minutes to swap once the controller is removed.
