NBS Fog light switch.... I'd like my fog lights always on when the switch is ON!!!

I hate the way that the fog light switch on the New Body style chevy's and Gmc's turns off everytime the ignition is turned off.

I'd like to either rewire the light cirguit to the fogs or get a new switch so the lights will be on when I have the switch ON and not having to push the button to On every time i get in the truck.



what's the wasiest way to do this?

I could be mistaken, but I believe a memeber by the name of Gnatgosplat did this mod. Takes some electrical/electronic knowledge.

You dont even know! Im about an hour anda half north of Santa Barbara and these last 4 nights or so fog has been unbeleiveable. I was driving between 1 am and 8 am on Tuesday Night about 50 miles both in town and in the country, and I ended up just turning my headlights OFF it was so bad. Just drove around with my fogs on sometime, or in the city no lights at all except for running lights and it was SO much better.

yeah pisses me off too... arggg stupid switch why won't you stay on... :cussing: what if you rewire the switch with ignition switch power? would that be good or bad... i'd like to change it too so it stays on... i fixed the daylights so they come on when i want too. damn canadian laws ...

I though a company with the name R&D or similar made a kit for this as well as other lighting options. I maybe wrong and it just be college drinking catcjhing up to me.:D
