Installing overhead console

Now last(maybe) for today, I bought an overhead console off e-bay. Does anyone know how long of a screw to use to mount this? I have a 94 fullsize W/T model so it does'nt have the nice Silverado type headliner, but it does have a padded vinyl headliner which actually looks rather nice. Thought about using a self-starting screw to mount this, but don't want to go through to the roof!! Thanks guys, this forum is like having a whole bunch of brothers around all the time.....S/S

If memory serves correctly (it has been a while since I pulled mine off), I think it is about 3/4 to 1" long.

Yeah. I got it off e-bay from a wreck and the screw was still in it.
