Is there any pillar pods avaliable that make it so it looks molded into the A pillar? I seen the Banks one from truckperformance.com but it only looks one color. I had a lotek one for my old Alero and really liked the design but they dont make them for a full size chevy. Anyone know of a good pillar pod for dual or triple gauges?

I know that auto meter makes them. Not sure if they come in two or three holes though.
I think they can fit the GM trucks but have never seen one in person on a FSC.

I put one in the other day from Autometer on a NBS. It actually goes over the existing pillar with double sided tape.

Yeah, I know about autometer cause I had one for a neon and it was a piece of garbage. Didnt flow well at all with the interior, that is why maybe we should get Lotek to design one for us. They are of awesome quality and they will match pretty close to any interior color that is equipped for our vehicle.

I just got a triple pod from e-bay awhile back, it is the entire A-pillar, So it looks really good, I had the 2 pod stick on type before & it looked like crap. I found it by searching under 98 chev* the guy has had several on there for sale, I think it was $55 bucks or so, they come in black (paint to match with some SEM interior dye) or cabon fiber look. Like I said it replaces the entire A pillar & looks great. Sorry I cannot remeber the sellers ID, I checked the history in E-bay but it must have been more than 30 days. If I see it again I will post it for you.

Boosted, your truck sounds b@d@ss!! I would love to see picks. Also what did the tranny upgrades cost you. I got a list of parts from James B. but yours seems a little simpler. What did you do?? Where did you get the parts?? What did the install run. The list of items Jmaes B sent is pretty comprehensive, but it seems like you just stepped up to a 14 bolt and thats it ??
SuperchdSSTahoe, Your ride is incredible!! that thing is sweet!

I have a brand new 3 pod pillar from autometer sitting in my garage unused. It is black abs plastic and fits perfectly over the existing pillar. I paid $55 for it. If you are interested, make me an offer.

GreenTahoe, Thanks, the tranny build is a complete Built Tranny front to back, almost Identical to JamesB's you can't skimp on the tranny if you want it to live. Hardened input / output shafts, 5 gear planetaries, Sun HD Shell, Extra clutch pack, And so on. I have the Trans GO kit in the valvebody & a billet servo, TCI extra capacity pan, aux. cooler & synthetic fluids, NO electrical mods to raise line pressure. I did all the work on it myself & I had close to 1k in parts + the convertor. I bought all the parts from this guy www.pro-built.net, Just told him what I kind of power I was making & followed his guides, Very Helpful.
As far as the rear end, I ordered the truck with the 14 bolt & gears, I just changed the oil to synthetic & added the disc brakes. When I break it I will build it then, It is way stronger than the 10 bolt units most trucks have. There are pics in my gallery section & in the members ride section, Just search for Boosted's Truck, these were posted before they strated the gallery.

Is this for a 96-99 A-pillar or NBS?
