OK, I got my IDQ 10's installed. I put them in two seperate boxes (.70 cu ft each) down-firing under the rear seat. I have a TEMPERARY pyramid 600 pushing them. They hit kind of hard, but don't have that breath cutting effect that I am looking for. I know the problem is the amp. Which one would pound the hell out of them? I was told a JL 500/1 and a JBL 600.1 would work good. Any others? Also I have the dvc 4 ohm ones. What I did was wire both voice coil + together and both voice coil - together on the woofer and then wired them to seperate channels of my amp, because the bridging part of it does not work for some reason.

Check out this amp, its rated at 525 per channel at 2 ohms, which you could wire your dual 4s to handle a 2 ohm load. Its cheap right now too.

It seems okay, at first I was thinking you had wired the subs + to + and then to one channel +, and the other - to- to the other channel -, which would produce a 2 ohm mono load, which is not a good idea, you will damage the amp that way. The way you did it produces a 2 ohm stereo load, so it should be okay!
