Anybody know about the quality of blaupunkt components. I am looking at there thin subs for the side panels of my K5. I like them because they are only 2.2" thick and I can make my boxes inside the side panels and still look stock.

So I am just wondering if they make good speakers? Nobody seems to carry them around here, that makes me think they are no good.

Thanks
-Chris

i haven't dealt with baupunkt in years. i wasn't too impressed by them back then. free air subs can be alright in side panels also. i did a single pioneer free air 10" through the little side storage cubby in the back of a jeep. way before they even offered prefabs for it. it shook the mirror and had around 150 watts to it. if you fire them from opposite panels at each other, watch out for cancellation. i've seen it fly and i've seen it die. you just have to fool around with it.
