I know this is going to sound stupid to some of yall but im curious of something
I have a 3inch body lift now, i want to go higher but i have a newborn and the fiancee can barley get into the truck witha 3inch body lift, when i was thinking about lowering i wanted to have a airbag setup that when i armed my alarm it would drop all the way to the ground, when i started it raise up to a decent level
well i want to do the same thing but a little different
i would like to put the airbags on and be able to raise it say anotehr 3 or 4 inchs, and then when i want to lower it it can go back to the hight it is at now or a little lower for easy loading and what not
is this possible??

You'd have to change to a SFA. I've seen it done though.

SFA ride quality will probably be negligable, maybe rougher. I am doing it, I am expecting to spend about 7k to do it right. Not cheap. Thats with NO fancy air bags, just leafs :D.

10k? Nah, not if you do your own rebuilds and labor. I am hoping to stay well under 8k.
This is something I've given a lot of thought to. The easiest way to set this up IMO is to go with AirRide shockwaves up front mount to custom brackets on the control arm and to the frame. This setup would replace the torsion bars OR coils as well as get rid of the stock shocks. If you'd like, I can send you over an illustration of what I am talking about. Once I get the final measurements, I'm going to see about getting it started.

3500 is not bad to make it work..do you think it will be able to rise to the 4inch or so lift, could i go more,
is it worth it
what parts will i need a list would be great cause if i can get a buddy to get me a deal on these parts find a good place to do the install (whats a good place to do the install) then im all over this

Just thought I throw in my 2 cents :)
If all your looking for is a cosmetic lift, You could just bag the body. Bag it at the body mounts. You get no more suspension this way and I'm not sure if anyone would want a 6" body lift, but it would be easier and cheaper and allow you to do want your looking for.
Just an another alternative to think about.

not just lift the body, for one i wouldnt feel very safe with just the body lifted and i dont think it would look too good
im going to pm sky and kaddy daddy and see what they say
thanks for the help guys
