I purchased this truck in August of 1999 and used it as my daily driver for 4 years. In 2003 I purchased a new GMC pickup and this truck became my toy. Since then I've added TONS of accessories which I will list below.
1989 Chevy K1500 4x4 Pickup
New 355 GM V8 Vortec Engine (rated at 300+ horsepower)
Headman Long Tube Headers
3 Inch True Dual Exhaust
(2) 40 Series Flowmaster Mufflers
External Oil Cooler
4L60E Automatic Transmission with Shift Kit
Custom Programmed Computer Chip
6 Inch Pro Comp Suspension Lift
3 Inch Performance Accessories Body Lift
2 Inch Trailmaster Traction Lift
Total 11 Inches of Lift
GM 10 Bolt Rear End with Detroit Locker
New 35x16 Super Swamper TSL Boggers
15x10 American Racing Wheels
I've got a set of 38x15.5 Super Swamper TSL Radials that will be included. I paid $1200 for them and they have around 50% tread left on them.
I put the new vortec motor in this truck last summer. Since then I've only driven the truck a handful of times. Its probably got less than 100 miles on it. The motor is very, very strong at over 300 horsepower. When I built the motor I bought everything brand new. Starter, Distributor, Coil, Alternator, etc. Every part I puchased came with a lifetime warranty from O'Rielly's. I also have lifetime warranties on most of the suspension parts that I've purchased. I will included all of these receipts.
This truck has a dent in the passenger side door, as you can see in the pictures. It also has a small rust spot on the top of the cab. Other than that, its in pretty good shape. Few little marks here and there, but all in all it looks good.
I don't have the rear bumper on in the pictures, but that is sitting in the garage ready to be installed and in great shape. I'll put it back on before I sell it.
The only thing this truck needs to be road ready would be an alignment.
This truck is BAD ASS if you're looking for something to drive on the weekends or play around with. It will smoke almost any other vehicle of its type. Again, if you're looking for a daily driver the only thing you'll need to do is have an alignment done.
If you have questions you can send them to Dean@4WheelCustoms.com.
$5500 with the motor
$3500 without the motor
Hmm if i lived in Mo would be a good deal... neads paint and a little luv and would look like a new truck!

Give me a call soon. I've got it listed on Ebay and I'm trying to sell it locally. Hopefully it won't be around much longer!Originally Posted by c.nash
