I just had a ported and polished one that I sold to someone. He may be looking to get rid of his stock one. I told him about this thread, so hopefully he will reply soon. How much are you looking to spend? What do you need the core for? Thanks.

Why are you getting rid of everything? Just curious.

there are several components to the system Ive been running that just arent necessary or compatible with the custom tuning that Im having done. with the extensive amount of engine work I did the Hypertech just isnt cutting it anymore, and the stock throttle body is choking my engine out of even more power. I want another one so I can have it professionally ported and still drive my truck while Im having it done. Id actually like to buy your S/C but I cant afford it right now, then I wouldnt have to worry about the throttle body size if you still have it later on down the road we might have to talk again...

No it is burned pretty badly, like clean out all of the melted plastic in it and on the outside of the piece from where the air cleaner melted and it might be usable for a core,MIGHT.

Is there any difference in the throttle bodies for a 5.0 and a 5.7?

I am pretty sure that there isn't any difference.

I think you are right. Truth is, most people couldn't tell the difference in a 5.0 or a 5.7 by looking at them anyway!!
