The closer to Houston, TX the better, and looking for something relatively cheap. Blown away by the ones I've found on craigslist that are either obvious scrap metal, or a decent used bed at near the price of a new one.
This will be for the gray '95 3500HD, 159.5" wheelbase, so the bed would ideally be around 7.5' to 8' wide, and 10' to 11' long. The frame has been cut off for a wrecker unit making a 10' bed ideal, but I'm sure I could make an 11' work.
Thanks!

Just need something cheap and functional - not another big project. And possibly temporary, as plans with the truck evolve.
Besides, wood just ain't heavy enough, unless I use railroad ties or something. This truck really needs a little weight on the back to keep it from bouncing to death.
