96-00 OBS diesel cluster

want a cluster with tach from a 96-00 c2500/3500 OBS DIESEL.

looking for no more than $50 shipped, preferably around 237k miles or so, but not picky if it's easily changeable.

well the milage is a easy swap! afew clips, remove clear bezel, small screw driver to pry apart bottom corner of the clusters face apart from the cluster, and 1 small plug on the milage. and just 2 screws holding the milage section in. and just reverse and pop back together. REAL SIMPLE!
but whats wrong with yours if i ask? cause i believe the fuel/temp/volt/oil gauges all the same motors so you can strip those from any 96-00 cluster easy enough. tho the tach and speedo motors im not sure about but id think the speedo would be the same atleast.

nothing is wrong with mine. im just planning on a 4bt swap, and a cluster that says diesel fuel only will look better. plus atleast it will work with the gas engine too as the tach signal works off the altenator, and not the coil wire like older models.

so what now? you have a gas truck but you want it to say diesel on the cluster? or are you actually going to buy a diesel motor to swap. cause IMO it would just be cheaper/easier to buy a diesel truck!

yes i plan on swapping a diesel, a cummins 4bta. 4 cylinder. i would just buy a diesel but i dont want a 6.2 or 6.5 i want the 3.9 cummins and get 25+ mpg
